Rich Eisen

Rich Eisen's sports broadcasting experience includes co-hosting ESPN's "SportsCenter," anchoring "Baseball2Day" on ESPN2, and doing play-by-play for Major League Baseball on both ESPN and ESPN2. Prior to joining ESPN, Eisen worked at KRCR-TV in Redding, CA, as a sports anchor/reporter.

I think Rich is super solid. He was fabulous on SportsCenter and never pandered to the audience (unlike his side-kick Stu-ya Scott). Sometimes, Rich can be too jokey, but when he's in the zone, he mixes pop culture references with a thorough knowledge of the game. Don't be surprised if he moves on to bigger' venues, but he has been a huge part of The NFL Network's gynormous success. He just needs time to connect with all the players in the league and before you know it, he will be one of the all time greats. As far as being a Michigan guy . . . whatever. Northwestern RULES the Big 10! (After graduation)
