This place has food that matches their ambience. Clearly, the best Indian restaurant in San Francisco; perhaps anywhere. We sat in their Fantasy Room (full of luxurious cushions, drawn beads, candlelight and live violin music) and it was beautiful.
They've got a lot of unusual dishes that you don't see at most Indian restaurants. Great spot for a first date - paid dividends for me. :)
