The Philadelphia Eagles began play in 1933. The team won three NFL championships and is 0-1 in Super Bowls, losing to the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XV (1980). An NFC East team, the Eagles play their home games at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, PA. Eagles in the Pro Football Hall of Fame include Chuck Bednarik, Steve Van Buren, and Tommy McDonald.
