Rush

reviewed by ILikePie

Formed in 1968, Rush includes lead singer Geddy Lee, drummer Neil Peart and guitarist Alex Lifeson. The Canadian rock band’s most popular songs include "The Spirit of Radio" and "Tom Sawyer."

Rush 5

Rush are one of the greatest bands of all time. They are far more intelligent and skilled than some of their more popular rock counterparts (for example AC/DC...). They produce magnificent music, combining the skilful drumming of Neil Peart, the versatility of Lifeson's guitar work, the rumbling bass, the shrill vocals and tumbling keyboards of Geddy Lee, also adding on top the intelligent (and sometimes somewhat abstract) lyrics of Peart. Brilliant band!

I agree that AC/DC is no Rush, I don't understand the comparison. AC/DC is a different type of act all together.

I was merely trying to say that Rush are more musically talented than some other bands who are more successful. I used AC/DC as an example.
