Larry Mullen is the rock steady foundation of the one of the greatest bands in history, U2. His crisp snare and tom work are amongst the most recognizable in the percussion world. Most technical? Obviously not, but he transforms mediocre songs into memorable ones with his classic fills. Listen to 'With or Without You', 'Acrobat', 'Where the Streets Have No Name', 'Bad' and 'Miracle Drug'. These are just some of the songs that he has crafted into U2 staples. Let's give him the credit that he is due as a low key drummer that let his drums do the talking.
