Bloody Sunday (2002)

Documentary-style drama showing the events that lead up to the tragic incident on January 30, 1972 in the Northern Ireland town of Derry when a protest march led by civil rights activist Ivan Cooper was fired upon by British troops, killing 13 protesters and wounding 14 more.

This is a good film about the massacre in Derry, by British Paras, of the Irish Civil Rights workers in 1972. The flick is pro-Irish, but shows the warts on both sides.

U2's song of the same name recurs as a theme.
I have been a fan historian of the "Troubles" so the movie resonated with me.
