7th Generation Paper Towels & Toilet Paper

Djahuti

The comment below reflects the sad state of ignorance regarding our use of environmentally friendly products.Without "a clue" as to the implications, the unfortunate soul has somehow decided that a recycled paper product is "dirty".What IS dirty,is the fact that we continue deforestation for any number of products that could be made in other ways.A large portin of the trees we lose are cut down for PAPER- which we then,in our infinate foolishness, throw away. This is very stupid, because paper can be made from a wide variety of plant fibers, and we need never use trees for it.Since we DO use trees,we can at least recycle the paper made from them instead of wasting more.Furthermore, the BLEACHING of paper to make it white is quite destructive to the health of our planet. If you think "Bleach" is something benign,I challange you to imbibe some and call me in the morning! 7th Generation makes unbleached paper towels, napkins and toilet paper from recycled fibers. They take the name 7th Generation from the wise old American Indian adage that whatever we do,we should consider how it will affect the next 7 Generations. How much better could the World be if people would adopt such a far-sighted and loving Philosophy!
