My dermatologist prescribed Minocycline for cyctic acne,the first day I took it I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded but because the label on the bottle said this would go away during treatment, I continued to take it, On the 4th day, I was so dizzy and lightheaded, the room was spinning (I was at work) and I was confused and literally walking into walls, My vision went completely blurry. it was the scariest feeling ever!! I had to call my husband to pick me up and take me to the emergency room, where the drs told me it mustve been side effects of the minocycline, I stopped taking it that day and havent had any in my system for 6 days now, but Im still dizzy and my head feels like it ways a ton, I also have had a severe headache since stopping the meds, Im taking Antivert that the hospital had given me to counter act this medicine, but Im almost out. I hope the side effects go away soon. I will NEVER take Minocycline again!!
