great college player but not the greatest. one person can't win a title by themselves? HERSCHAL WALKER 1980. I think barry is a classy guy and one of the better backs college and one of the best pro backs, but I have him #16 in a list of greatest college players.

Rating Barry Sanders as #16. Whoa!!! Then again, you're probably one say that Emmitt Smith was a better pro RB than Barry. Bottom line, Herschel Walker had nothing on Barry Sanders. Giving Barry 4 stars instead of the obvious 5 is just reflective of your limited CFB knowledge.
