Let me preface my review by saying that I neither have a problem with homosexuals or the fact that they have their own show. Not a problem in the world.
But I dislike the "queer eye" guys for several reasons. For one thing, they think that they are oh so fashionable and "chic" and straight men are barely capable of choosing their own clothes day by day. I resent that. I may not wear clothes that Hollywood elites think are "cool", but I have my own sense of fashion, and I resent five gay guys treating me (or any other straight guy) like a fool because I don't dress like them.
I also can't get over the fact that they have adopted the nickname "the fab five". That nickname began with the Beatles - who WEREN'T gay - who were called the 'fab four' by the Press and their fans. Not only do the "queer eye" guys not deserve such a nickname, but it makes me angry that people will begin to associate the nickname with homosexuality, further adding ammunition to idiots who are absolutely convinced that the Beatles are gay.
