I recently purchased a 12 gauge Field model with a 28" barrel. It came with 4 chokes (C, IC, M, F), a choke tool, and a useless gunlock (plastic piece of junk).
Gun was easy to assemble, and the parts fit together very well. The break action was difficult at first but improved greatly with cleaning and oiling.
There were no blemishes on the bluing or the stock. The auto-ejectors toss the empties a few feet.
There is no engraving or scrollwork on the receiver, and the wood is not what I would call fancy.
So far, a very solid, functional gun, and very cheap ($379 usd - retail).
For those who don't know, the Spartan 310 is a Baikal IZH-27. It used to be imported by EAA, but now is imported by Remington, through Spartan Gunworks.
