Coulter is a right-wing writer and syndicated columnist who told the New York Observer in 2002 that "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building." and added a year later ""Of course I regret [the previous quote]. I should have added 'after everyone had left the building except the editors and the reporters.'"
Her provacative books have titles like "How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must)." For some odd reason, many people think she hurts tolerance in American culture. She was fired by the right-wing magazine National Review Online because of "sloppiness of expression and thought." and her book "Slander" was picked apart for its intentional misrepresentations. Her book "Treason" was lambasted even by Rush Limbaugh. She defends McCarthy and has stated that women should not be allowed to vote because they don't have the capacity to understand money and there should be a literacy test and poll tax, that Arabs smell bad and we should forcibly convert them to Christianity and that fascism on a local level can be beneficial.
