As far as ensamble parody shows this is King.Great collection of sketch players.John Candy and Joe Flaherty in particular.Bob and doug Mckenzie sketches,Count Floyd,Johhny Larue.The sketches Parodying newscasters.Earl Cannon Bear (Geraldo Rivera Type) and Flahertys character (STraight Man)were usually hilarious.I prefer the older canadian ones to the nbc version but both leaps and bounds above SNL or Mad tv.SNL really sucks if you ever see the old Chevy Chase Era shows.People must have been really high on something if they thought the samuri deli or bad news bees were funny.Almost impossible to watch now.
