Born in 1965, Scottie Pippen was selected out of Central Arkansas by the Seattle SuperSonics as the fifth overall pick of the 1987 NBA Draft. Immediately traded to the Chicago Bulls, Pippen teamed with Michael Jordan to form the core of a team that won six championships. Pippen was selected as one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history, has been to multiple All-Star Games, and has been named to multiple NBA All-Defensive Teams. Following his stint with the Bulls, Pippen spent one year with the Houston Rockets before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in 1999.
