Not sure why he's on this list. The conservatives who tried to slam Franken's Liars book came up empty, precisely because he'd researched it so well. His humor is deadpan, which is probably inaccessible to many who consume the modern laugh track telegraphed attempts at humor on modern primetime. Literacy is on the decline of late, so most people don't get irony.
