Scott is dead. I'm not sure when he died. They still run videos of his lectures. The can be interesting. His theology is Arminian, probably due to this Assemblies of God background. He was an intellegent man, but his teachings on salvation were wrong. If you listened carefully and bought into what he believed you would never be sure where you stood with God. Maybe that is what Gene wanted. After all what he was running amounted to a cult, with Gene himself literally sitting on his throne smoking his cigars and condescending to his flock, pumping them for their tithe money so he could have more money to support his boring harnass horse breeding and raising hobby, and so he could show is horse movies to his mind-numbed, spoon-fed LA flock. I might be a lot of things, but I am not blind. I wonder if he had lived if he would have moved his Gene Scott fearing flock to Guiana and had them drink some Kool-ade. What do you think?
