Hillary Clinton 4

The Clintons have never lost an election. They don't run unless they're pretty sure they can win. She will do her homework. If she runs, it probably means she has the numbers. All of her negatives - old news. They bring it up again and all she has to do is roll her eyes and invoke "Clinton scandal fatigue." Problem for me is that she's too conservative, particularly with regard to the war.

Actually, Bill lost his first re-election bid for the governorship of Arkansas. He had taken enormous contribution monies from Don Tyson with the agreement he would sign the bill increasing the weight limit on Arkansas highways when it had been approved by the legislature. Bill knew it would ruin most of those highways, and vetoed the bill. Tyson threw his support to another candidate, who then won, unseating Clinton. Clinton begged and pleaded Tyson for another chance in the next election two years hence, Tyson relented, threw his support (and money) behind Clinton, and Clinton wass re-elected after a two year hiatus, the term of the governorship being only two years at the time. This led to the money mysteriously appearing in Hillary's "cattle futures" account. Wouldn't you want a presidential candidate to be given the opportunity to answer such a sordid charge?

Well, nobody's going to want to hear all that speculation dredged up again. I think the country was burned out on it in the 1990s.
