Companies 'cut corners' all the time, in the name of profit, and sometimes quality suffers, as do pets that die and owners that go through heartache. If companies CARED more, they would TEST more, and in better ways than presently.

Diamond is a great value and a great product. I really feel that 50% of the ill will toward Diamond are those people paying three times as much for the same quality food under some designer label in a pet boutique or mass market suburban chain place. The other 50% are those people who lack education, either out of loyalties to other brands, habit or just blind prejudice. I have peppered these people with every question possible, and all their answers are solid...at least when checked with my Holistic Vet, a competing Dog Food's staff Vet, and the nutritionist who works for my Lab's orthopedic surgeon. All were given every fact requested except the name brand of the food. Though the entire line spans corn based bargain chunks to all natural and grain free, this is a good company and I will continue to feed my babys their products. Don't forget to talk a walk!!!!!
