My experience with MovieLink was less than good. I attempted to download a movie, and received an error message that I didn't have enough disk space. As it turned out, I was unable to free up more space on that drive. I was not allowed to reassign another drive. Final result was no download at all. Then I received an Email confirming my movie download and my charge to me credit card. I called the MovieLink phone number and was told that the charge occurred when I ordered the download. It made no difference whether I actually had a successful download or got an error, I was charged regardless. I sent an Email to the ID the lady gave me for contacting management. Never heard from anybody, and yesterday I saw that my bank account was charged. Now if that doesn't suck, I don't know what does. Even though it was just $3.99, the concept is dishonest and unauthorized!!

Movielink's policies on refunds for inability to download is very lenient. If you contact the Live Chat Help we can refund you or help you troubleshoot the issue. We don't have phone support, so I'm not sure who you spoke with. As with any e-commerce site, the charge is made at the completion of the transaction. That's not something unique to Movielink. If you had contacted our Live Chat Help (and if you still wish to) we can refund your money. Sincerely, John Keating Sr. Technical Support Manager Movielink
