Peyton Manning

reviewed by graywolf06

Born in 1976, Peyton Manning was selected out of Tennessee by the Indianapolis Colts with the first overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. Still a quarterback with the Colts, Manning (son of former NFL QB Archie Manning) set NFL rookie records for completions, attempts, yards, touchdowns and consecutive games with a TD pass in 1998.

Peyton Manning 3

He has VERY antsy feet (can't seem to calmly drop back) and too much pumping of the football. He's too busy dropping too far back before passing. With the player core (and their foot speed) a three step would proof sufficient. He has qualities to stay consistent but fails to get better at learning. He is surrounded by the talented players that have allowed the team to be historical. BUT he falls short when the time is crucial to help his team win the needed games to make it to the Super Bowl. If he is so good put him on Commission to make is BIG BUCKS. Many others could play (QB) for the Colts and surpass his stats: Matt Schaub, Aaron Brooks, Drew Brees, Phil Rivers, Kerry Collins, Drew Bledsoe, etc... If he is so good why are ALL of the players seen having to DIVE to receive a high percentage of his passes. He's not accurate, he does throw it in the area of his players and they have to break the route to get the pass reception, then make a play afterwards (when possible).

Take a quick look - those antsy feet are headed to Super Bowl 41, and after his career is done, to the Hall in Canton. Complain ALL you want, but the guy is, plain & simple, a winner, period, end of discussion.
