Meetro is really neat. You open your laptop and you know where your friends are (within 1/4 mile, within 5 miles, etc.), and it works just like a regular IM. This could be a fantastic service once people start to adopt it, and if they can incorporate cell phones somehow.
Meetro requires a download, and is available for PC and Mac.
