There's nothing wrong with Apple as a name. Our 5 year old border collie is named Apple. Althought the poor thing seems to have developed a bit of a complex about having a human name ever since that celebrity kid came along.

You said it, its your dog named Apple...I mean its ok for a pet to have an odd name, but a human?..Dont think so.
