Diamond quality is terrible (should not even be using these for jewelry, really obvious black inclusions, even to my untrained eye in poor lighting). When I tried to return earrings with receipt within 30 day return period, the salesperson wouldn't let me because I didn't have the credit card they were bought with (they were a gift, credit card owner is now far away). Also, the saleswoman was strangely rude when I said I wanted to return them and seemed gleeful when I didn't have the credit card. Look around before buying. Prices, quality, service all awful.

Just a question, How much were the earrings? Unfortunately, diamonds are like cars you can get a Kia or a Jaguar. As for not having the credit card that is the policy of 99% of all companies that money must be returned in the same form as original payment.

You know that old saying "you get what you pay for"?...well, when you pay a low price you get low quality. As for the credit card policy, reallynow is right..just about every company has the same policy regarding the purchase price going back onto the same credit card...in other words, the buyer of the item is the one who receives the refund.

As far as price: I think they were around 400-500 dollars, I can't quite remember now, but after wising up after that experience I (and the guy buying for me) looked around and found much higher grades of diamonds for the same price all over, ended up buying from bluefly.com. These may be imperfect under a microscope but they look great to the naked eye and that's really what most people want out of jewelery diamonds. For the credit card thing: I was fine with the money going back on the same credit card, I just didn't possess that credit card, it was with the giver in another state. Most stores are quite capable of taking money on and off cards without physically having them. It's a very contrived way to make it difficult to return a crappy product. It really is a terrible value there (just do 5 minutes of price comparison online), it bothers me how they take advantage of people who are probably just trying to get a nice gift, feel nervous/intimidated, and trust the familiar name. They are selling industrial grade diamonds for a huge profit - and with amazingly crappy customer service.
