A study by the EPA published in 2005 measured pesticide levels in 23 children before and after eating an organic diet.After 5 days of eating organic,the childrens levels of specific markers for commonly used pesticides were dramatically reduced.A lot of pesticides are toxic to the brain.Organic foods are also free of Hormones,Antibiotics and other neurotoxins.There is a very informative article on this subject in the February edition of "Consumer Reports",which goes on to tell you what foods are worth buying organic and what ones are not.If you don't believe that pesticides are dangerous,read the warnings on a can of RAID or an insect killing fogger.
