2004- President George W. Bush (R) vs. Senator John F. Kerry (D-MA)

John Kerry (D) ran for President to improve the millitary and create jobs. George W. Bush (R) ran on a platform to keep taxes low. Kerry attacked Bush politically and Bush attacked Kerry's record. Zell Miller, the Governor of Georgia, supported President Bush and he was a Republican. The popular vote: Bush 51% Kerry 48%

This is one of the worse electoral choices in the history of the country. Kerry was a caricature of a candidate wildly groping to be on all sides of all issues. He was a total joke, and out of touch with America. Bush deserved defeat for all the mistakes and mis-steps he made. At least you knew what you were getting with Bush. Why would you change? That's what the American people thought.
