Like neighboring Brookline, this part of Boston has a significant Jewish population and has a heavy population of students attending the many neighboring colleges including Boston College and Boston Univesity. In addition to Jews, Brazilians, Irish, Greeks, Italians and Latinos are among the most prominent ethnic groups in the neighborhood.
