Joel Osteen 1

Yes, a spirit of "criticism" is moving across the country in an unprecedented way, or so says "Queen" Victoria Osteen. She just doesn't understand that people do get a little edgy when heresy is passed off for the unchanging Message of Jesus Christ. She and her co-heretic husband parade in their finery and strut on their mega-stage like it's an affirmation of their blasphemies, shoving an occasional "peon" along the way, but it's starting to unravel already. You can only spout that same feel-good "sermon" so many times, and people will realize that the hunger is still there. As they said way back then: "Sir, we would see Jesus." John 12:21
And now we have the latest "best smeller" from JO: "Become a Better You"...but, as even he admits, Jesus and God are not mentioned in its pages. So, how can a "pastor" lead his flock toward a better life without acknowledging the source of all good and perfect things? Oh, that's right, Joel says that it's somebody ELSE'S job to tell the truth, he's just a "LIFE COACH".
Joel Osteen is a frightening person. Even if he doesn't realize what he's saying and writing, the power behind him certainly does.

Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldlymere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men? What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believeas the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 1 Corinthians 3:1-7

In response to WarmHands review I would agree that Donovan hit it on the head when he pointed out the people who are new to the Word of God or Ignorant(not a bad thing, you can always educate yourself with the power of the Holy Spirit).Base everything you hear from any preacher against the standard of God's Word. There is no higher standard by which you can judge anything.Judging from the way you "tore up on Joel's smile ", I take it that you didn't watch very much of any one of his programs.Probably not enough to judge him by his "Smile".Remember we are supposed to love one another, and EVERYTHING that we say in this life will be judged by "He who sits at the Right Hand of the Father". Be careful of making slanderous allegations about anyone. It is serious business with God.

I was going to reply to WarmHand's review but now I see Donovan and brn2ovrcm have already pretty much summed up what I wanted to say and I agree with them completely.

I don't know how to feel about people who are fooled by Osteen. How deep this deception goes. I'm sure you all mean well, and I believe you are just as Christian as the next person, but it's just so sad how deceptive satan is with this messenger disguised as an angel of light. I can only hope that when you find out(Whenever God decides to reveal it to you)that Osteen is not the man of God that you think he is, that it won't be so devastating
