We've always had a dishwasher. Just, up until recently, that dishwasher was ME.
I'm quite happy with our dishwasher. Yeah, sure, I end up pre-rinsing stuff out of habit. But the time saved is fantastic. And you can actually SAVE water with a good model (as opposed to hand-washing).
