Well folks, WW III started 9/11/2001 IMO. We are mired in the Middle East with Iraq, Afghanistan and a possible future threat in Iran. We are forced to watch our backs, so to speak, at every turn here at home and abroad. We will be in this war for a long, long time. My greatest fear of this war is that it will NEVER end and in fact will esculate into something that even our worst nightmares couldn't dream up. The enemies we face today will not hesitate to blow themselves up or crash planes into buildings because they feel they will be rewarded in heaven.
We really don't know who our enemy is and because of that we are in some cases shooting at shadows or killing the wrong people. It has caused many of us to stereotype individuals and this creates the growing problem of developing even more prejudice than the world already had to start with. Hate is building worldwide on both sides. I'm fearful that the next attack on American soil will make the 9/11 attacks pale by comparison. I hope and pray there will no more but realistically it is inevitable. The rest of the fears on this list (except terrorists) are possible but don't scare me anything like WW III.
