There's a difference between "emotional attachment" and "co-dependent psycho".
I'm sure most guys wouldn't want a girl who'd be completely dismissive of them, most guys I know would want a girl who actually wants to be with them. But when it gets to telling him who he can be friends with and who he can't, who doesn't want him to even talk to another female (including relatives), then it's just freaking scary.
