LOL . . . I dunno, most of my male friends are more concerned about the woman who is "well UNdressed" . . . .
Unless it's extreme (i.e. wearing stuff that you haven't washed in like a week), most guys don't care, as far as I know.
It also depends on the meaning of "female counterpart"; many guys will be looking for a different type of girl depending on if they want a full-on relationship or just someone they want for the night. When the guys (as in, my friends, not all guys) go to the bars/clubs, they're looking for the girl wearing the least amount of clothing that's still legal (questionably); but most of the guys wouldn't want them for anything long-term.
