Founded by a Celtic tribe, Dublin is the capital and largest city in Ireland. Dublin is Ireland’s cultural center, home to Ireland’s National Print Museum, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and the National Gallery of Ireland. Dublin is also home to St. James Gate Brewery, the brewers of Guinness. Located on Ireland’s east coast at the mouth of the Liffey River, Dublin has an estimated population of 495,000 residents. Irish novelist James Joyce immortalized the city in his books “Dubliners” and “Ulysses.”
