Can't believe I'd forgotten about him. He was of course the sacrificial lamb who went down under Nixon, then brought down Nixon with him. He knows about government corruption, as an insider. He testified for the censure hearing last week. Amazing turnaround for a fascinating figure.
He also said that Nixon would have fired anybody who proposed wiretapping on private citizens without a warrant. I don't believe it, but it's a nice sentiment.
