A brilliant technical player and one of the more tolerable shredders but tends to overdo it. I'd have to hear how well he can play the acoustic before Id give him 5 stars.

Check out An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess, especially the opening track Furia Taurina. It's not exactly an acoustic guitar, it's the electric with piezo pickups, but you'll catch the feeling.
