Fred Meyer Jewelers 1

I brought my three stone diamond ring into their re styling sale and was excited at the new look my ring was going to take. After 3 hours I called to see if I could pick up my ring and they told me that they were running behind so my husband was going to pick it up. He arrived an hour after the "promised" time and was told they were making final touches and they would call him when it was ready. A hour later he called me to tell me he was going home and they had not called. This is 6 hours after I dropped off my ring. I called and asked to speak to the manager and I was put on hold and then told they would call me back. She did call me back 45 minutes later to tell me that my diamonds had been stolen from the store. After all the lies and cover up I hope no one will trust this jeweler again.

I am questioning fred meyers authenticity on their diamond rings. My husband bought me a diamond aniversary ring with 9 of 1/2ct diamonds on it. The ring has 18k gold marking. Next to it it has a strange marking on it that looks like an an eye or diamond with a letter or number in the middle, used a magnifying glass to view it unable to make it out. It cost over $2,000 on sale. The ring recently got smashed on my finger so I took it back to fred meyers jewelers to round it back into its original shape. The girl at the store asked me what I paid for it so they can determine the value of the ring. I was surprise that the store did not know the value of it since they were the ones who originally told my husband and I that it was valued over $4,000 when we bought it. In fact the lady who sold us the ring originally put it closer to $5,000 in value. So the girl put the value lower than $2,000 on the same diamond ring that we purchased from them. To top this off, I around the same time period had purchased a single diamond ring from Daniels which was more of a discount jewelry store. Now the ring from daniels has the EGL certification number followed by .51 on the inside of the band as well as the 14k followed by an oval with the two letters TW inside. Clearly the diamond authenticity from Daniels is EGL with the number but of the fred meyers 9 small diamonds there is no type of authenticity on the ring at all. I know FRED MEYERS RIPPED US OFF. My husband OVER PAID for the ring.
