2019. A game nobody survives. This year might be the exception. Based on the short story by Stephen King, directed by Paul Michael Glaser, and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Conchita Alonso, Yaphet Kotto, Jim Brown, Jesse Ventura, Erland van Lidth, Marvin J. McIntyre, Gus Rethwisch, Professor Toru Tanaka, Mick Fleetwood, Dweezil Zappa, Richard Dawson, Karen Leigh Hopkins, Sven-Ole Thorsen, Edward Bunker, Kurt Fuller, Ken Lerner, Rodger Bumpass, George P. Wilbur, Franco Columbu and Lin Shaye, released in 1987.

Awnold, in the future, is framed for a crime he didn't do and is sentenced to serve on a murderous game show. You gotta run away from all the hunters who are after you, hence the title.

Richard Dawson is the heavy who is the game show host, what else?

I like the game show angle. I really got a kick out of Richard Dawson calling the president's agent to get Awnold out of stir and onto the show.

Awnold was convicted of his crime by the doctoring of a news tape by the government. That was disturbing. It appeared so easy and was so devastating to the truth.
