The most overrated college basketball player of all time. He doesn't deserve to be in the top 10. Alcindor, Walton, Maravich, Laetner, Bird, Russell, Robertson, Duncan, Lucas, and Ewing, among MANY others, have a better college legacy. The fact that Jordan is one of the top 5 greatest pro players of all time should have no bearing on how people remember his college career. People always forget that James Worthy was the All-American on the 1982 championship Tarheel team, not Jordan. Jordan just played a supporting role. People talk about his legendary ability to "will his team to victory", but both the years he was the team's leader his team, with a #1 and #2 seeding, failed to make the Final Four. Jordan was a very good college player, but doesn't deserve to be in the pantheon of the greats.
