Criticism of President Bush is due primarily to a personal, partisan hatred of the man

This line of thinking says that liberals hate Bush so much, they've lost the ability to actually judge the man on his programs and leadership, but instead let their personal hatred cloud their perspective.

There may be truth to this in some cases, but this happens to all public figures of any type here and abroad throughout history. And some use this allegation as a defense against any and all criticism of his statements and policies.
