Maine is nicknamed the "Pine Tree State" after the white pine trees found in Maine's 17 million acres of forest. Maine is a large producer of paper products, seafood and blueberries. The capital of Maine is Augusta.

This state has all the negatives and none of the(very few) positives of it's New England neighbors.


The weather is horrible, the people are borderline retarded, you really have to be a loser, hillbilly, recluse to love this dump.

In fact all of New England sucks.....

Your review seems very small minded. My experience in Maine was that of honest, hardworking people. It was a great place to work with people and one which allowed you to become a contributing member of society.
