John Lodge (bass/vocals for the Moody Blues)

John Charles Lodge, born in Birmingham, England, on 20 July 1943. Member of the Moody Blues since 1966. Solo material includes the album 'Natural Avenue' and the single 'Street Cafe' and duo work (with Justin Hayward) includes the album 'Blue Jays' and the single 'Blue Guitar'.

Great bassist, some nice rifts and subtle accompaniments. Aside from that, his strengths are his stage performance and personality. His vocals were never quite as good as Hayward's and have deteriorated a little whereas Hayward's haven't.
