Of the Whiskey family, including Scotch, Rye, Irish Whskey, etc. Bourbon is my favourite for sipping straight or on the rocks. While there are endless varieties, seasonings and malts of Scotch, Bourbon has a nice mellow burn to it. In Canada where Rye or Cnadian Whiskey are the prefered drink, the selection of bourbon brands is limited. My favourite is Wild Turkey. Makers Mark is excellent, if a little pricey. Jack Daniels will always get you through the night.
