I'm new in the country and looking for places to go shopping for clothes. I already decided that Old Navy is out. Where do you go for clothes that "last at least a decade?"

well...i said half a decade...i've only been alive for 2 decades : i like hand me downs from parents(if they've lasted 30 years they'll last another 10), brand names are usually of good quality but always check the stiches. Rule of thumb, only machine-dry clothes that HAVE to be dryered. It's usually the drying machines that damage clothes. Try TJ Maxx. it's cheap and //sometimes// they have good stuff that last a while.
