Feisty and intelligent media watchdog organization, who have kept a very close eye on Fox News in particular in recent years. They counter the political bluster faithfully reported as fact in standard media outlets with well-researched statistics and analysis, and refuse to lie down when major media outlets attempt to marginalize them.
FAIR would be considered a left wing or liberal watchdog organization by most.
They also have a wickedly clever touch with catchphrases ("We watch Fox so you don't have to", "You can't fight terror with ignorance").
What I do not like so much are the 'Action alerts', where they invoke people to write to newspapers or TV channels complaining about their coverage. I would rather that they allow their readers to make their own judgements and take any action they see fit without putting words in their mouths.
