Misspriss, you are wrong on the switching dog food causing harm to your dog, some vet nutritionists recommend switching every 6 months. And I hate to break it to you, but Iams is a terrible food, just because your dog eats it doesn't mean it's good for him. Fromm, Canidae, Innova would be much better food, compare the first 5 ingredients, Iams is full of cheap fillers.

Sorry I didn't explain well enough! I mean changeing your dogs food frequently (as in close together EX: 2 times or more in a month) is not a good idea it can cause loose bowel movements, vomiting etc. I've seen it first hand! I worked at a vet hospital and patients came in acting sick the owners were all worked up over it, but once we ask about change in diet the Q's were over! Science Diet is better if you can afford the little extra amount of money. That's what my dogs are on now!

You have been corrupted by the veterinarians. Compare the ingredients of Science Diet to the ingredients of Iams. I think you will be surprised to see that Science diet is actually worse than iams! Ironically the truly good foods are not any more expensive than Science diet or Iams. Try Canidae if your on a budget, or for a little extra (probably not compared to SD) try Nature's Variety. Your dog will eat less and be much healthier in the long run. Good Luck!
