I don't know how it is in the US, but I'm from the UK and T-mobile was the first and only mobile phone service I've been with and I've been with them for almost twelve years now. What attracted me to them was their free evening and weekend calls to local landline phones - this is way before mobile phones took off the way they did. After being with this tariff for so long I switched to anyone 500 - where I get free 500 minutes to any mobile network and landlines within the UK between 6pm-7pm weekdays and all weekends and public holidays and 100 texts messages per-month. All the other networks we have in the UK - Orange, Virgin, Vodpahone have had to step up their game due to the competitive contracts from T-mobile. Customer services on this network are easy to reach, helpful and every year contracted customers get free upgrades where they get a new phone of their choice for being so loyal. The reception on my phone is more-or-less near perfect. I don't know what T-mobile are doing to customers over in the US, but they should take a leaf or six out of the ones over here in the UK.
