Used for extreme weight loss. Procedure that makes the stomach smaller and allows food to bypass part of the small intestine. People feel full faster and consume less calories.

I know a couple of people who went this route and have to have follow up procedures because of the excess skin. You have more from the surgery than by slowly losing the weight.
