As long as the vows they've written sound from the heart, I'd cut the bride and groom some slack.
To be truly cringe-worthy, a spouse-to-be would almost have to throw in an insensitive remark to their mate. Like one saying "You are my trophy" with the other one replying "Can't wait until I get half".
