If you find out about obedience or agility trials or a dog show that has one or both of these events then go. You can talk to a variety of people about dog training. Just take note however that if the person is getting ready to show their dog that you may want to wait until they are finished to approach them. Watch people show and see who seems to have the best time in the ring regardless of what the dog is doing....these people have a relationship with the dog and ability to shrug off some of the antics dogs pull.
