Mary Kay 5

Honestly, I think the products are great. I've been a loyal user for almost 5 years now and noticed a HUGE difference. When I was poor and in college I would try the stuff at Target and Walmart and had an aweful reaction to Neutrogena. For the first time in my life the reaction caused a change in my skin and I starting getting acne. I then decided that is was worth "my face" to actually invest in some good skin care. I had tried the mall brands like clinique and Lancome which were both good but making me even more broke in my wallet. My roommate had then asked me to come to a Mary Kay event with her and I'm glad I did. I actually got to try it all before even thinking about buying it so I didn't have to waste my money on something that I didn't like or use. It was much cheaper then what I was spending and I noticed my acne getting less and less over time. Now I'm on pretty much the whole skin care and I still receive compliments from my husband on how smooth my face looks at times. I have had a reaction before because my face had eventually gotten too dry from the oily formula but my consultant just changed is out to the dry/normal formula and it made a huge difference. I didn't know that my skin can change with the season's until she explained that to me.

About the company, we studied it in one of my college courses and it seemed like a really honest company and has won all kinds of awards. We had to read "More than a pink cadillac"-9 leadership keys to success. It had some good business skills to go by and it was not written by a mary kay person. My guy friends were joking about wanting to work from them.

Anyways, I've had a good exprience but I guess it is not for everyone.

I am a MK Consultant and am getting ready to give it up. I had the same reaction that you had with Neutrogena...only mine was with Mary Kay. Neutrogena has repaired the damage that the Mary Kay skin care lines have done to my face. Your not cleansing your face with Mary Kay...your simply leaving oily residue all over it. The Timewise 3-in-1 cleanser is the biggest joke I've ever seen...how can it exfoliate your skin? I have been using the same MK products for 2 months and have even switched from dry to oily skin cleansers and I wouldn't wish the products on my worst enemy. I don't recommend any part of the Mary Kay skin care lines to anyone.
