I think Favre should have retired earlier this year. This is a team that is in the rebuilding stages. The offensive line remains very young and inexperienced, the receiving corps are weaker this year than last and to top it off they have a new coach trying to break his teeth, who some have argued is way too inexperienced to be a head coach. Not a good situation for a guy who wants to end a good career with a great season. At this rate, Favre might have another season with 20+ interceptions. And that's too bad.
